Blueberry Chia Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries (preferably organic)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • 4 tbsp chia seeds

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients except the chia seeds into a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the mix into a glass and stir in the chia seeds.
  3. Cover the glass or place the mix in an airtight container and refrigerate overnight, or at least 5 hours.
  4. Enjoy as is, or I like to top with fresh fruit and a sprinkle of granola (I recommend Purely Elizabeth blueberry hemp granola)

Notes

*The cook time is the overnight refrigerating time*This recipe can work with any fruit instead of blueberries. I recommend trying mango, raspberries or strawberries.
