Detoxifying Vegan Kale Salad

  • 4 cups of kale
  • 2 tbsp organic olive oil
  • Squeeze of fresh lemon (about 1/4 – 1/2 of a lemon)
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 3 tbsp pine nuts
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
  • 1 tsp red chili flakes
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • pinch of pink sea salt
  • pinch of black pepper


  1. Wash the kale and pat dry. Shred the kale into smaller pieces.
  2. Add the kale, olive oil and lemon to a large bowl and massage with your hands until the kale leaves soften. The kale should drastically shrink after a minute or two of the massaging process.
  3. Add all other ingredients and mix well to combine.


This will stay good in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, but is best served immediately.
