Hi! I’m so glad you stopped by. I’m Leah, a 35-year-old that lives in South Florida with my husband and two daughters.
I’m a mother first (and a wife too, hi Josh!) but my other “baby” is this business. I started Prenatal Health & Wellness because I have always been (and still am) fascinated by pregnancy, as well as health — so I combined the two 🙂 I want to help others have the healthiest pregnancy possible.
There are many factors that go into having a healthy pregnancy: food / nutrition, exercise / movement, mental health, happiness, using non-toxic products, and so much more.
At my private practice I work one-on-one with clients to help them navigate how to have the healthiest pregnancy possible.
If you just want to follow along on this blog and not be a client, I enjoy sharing simple, nutritious meals made with wholesome ingredients that don’t take a lot of time to make. There’s nothing I dislike more than seeing an intimidating long ingredient list, so all of my recipes require just a few clean and simple ingredients and recipes that won’t have you standing in your kitchen all day. I’m all about keeping healthy eating uncomplicated. Therefore, all of my recipes are quick and simple. You will find tons of healthy recipes to help support a healthy pregnancy here.
My goal is to help people realize that eating healthy doesn’t have to be complicated. I’m a busy mom who doesn’t have hours to spend in the kitchen — and I know you’re busy too! I want people to know they, too, can live a busy lifestyle without sacrificing health.
Aside from eating healthy during pregnancy, movement is important too. I went on walks every morning to clear my head and prenatal yoga definitely helped to keep me grounded and calmed my body and mind in a whole new way.
I’m also passionate about clean beauty products and non-toxic household products, so you’ll also find lots of advice about this on my site as well. I guess I can say I have an overall passion for health and wellness! I truly believe that when you’re healthy in ALL aspects of life (food, fitness, non-toxic living, sleep and mental wellbeing) is when you’ll feel your best mentally and physically.
I’m a certified health coach and nutrition consultant specializing in prenatal and postnatal nutrition. I proudly graduated from IIN (Institute of Integrative Nutrition).
