Paleo Sriracha Ginger Cauliflower Kraut Fried Rice
This yummy Sriracha-Ginger Cauliflower Kraut Fried Rice has a nice kick to it and lots of flavor. It’s paleo / grain-free / gluten-free.
I grew up going out for Hibachi every Sunday night with my family – it was a tradition that I loved. My favorite part of going out for hibachi was the fried rice. It was just sooooo freakin good! I rarely go out for hibachi anymore (I prefer to recreate better-for-you versions of that food at home using clean and simple ingredients).
For years now I’ve been making fried rice at home using sprouted organic brown rice and I’m obsessed with how delicious it is and tastes just as good as the fried rice I used to get at the hibachi restaurant.
This week I opted for cauliflower rice to keep it paleo and grain-free, and wanted to switch things up a bit with the flavor, so decided to make it a bit spicy and I’m SO glad I did. I’m obsessed with this recipe! The sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and onion in this recipe give this dish so much flavor while sriracha kraut gives it the perfect kick.
I feel so light, yet satisfied after eating this meal. I added a fried egg on top for some protein and after I photographed this I added some chopped avocado on top for healthy fat.
As mentioned, this dish is completely grain-free and is made with clean, simple whole food ingredients and is PACKED with vegetables! Did you see little Jordyn (who is 16 months old) shoving this into her mouth the other day on my Instagram stories?! Even she loved this recipe and I had a proud mama moment knowing she was eating tons of cauliflower, carrots, peas and zucchini 🙂 I can easily say that this is definitely a kid-friendly meal, so make a big batch for the whole family to enjoy!
If you don’t want to use cauliflower rice you can certainly use brown or white rice instead (cook it first and once it’s fully cooked add it into the pan once the vegetables are almost fully cooked). If you’re going to use rice for this recipe I suggest using sprouted, as it’s easier to digest. Also keep in mind that if you use rice for this recipe it will no longer be paleo or grain-free, but is still gluten-free.
I am always looking for ways to boost my gut health and good bacteria, so have been adding certain foods like fermented vegetables, kimchi and kraut to my meals as much as possible. I sneak it into salads, sandwiches and now even fried rice!
I am absolutely obsessed with Farmhouse Culture and have been for many years. They make amazing products such as krauts and gut shots (which I take one of per day). A new flavor kraut that I recently tried and became addicted to (spice lover) is their Sriracha-Ginger Kimchi-Style Kraut. If you’re a spice lover like me you’ll be VERY into this! It adds a nice kick to any dish and I find it paired especially well with my cauliflower fried rice.
In addition to the new Sriracha-Ginger flavor they also recently released two other new flavors that I love – Ginger-Beet Kraut and Old Fashioned Sauerkraut. I honestly couldn’t pick a favorite. All three new flavors are so different and unique, yet so good.
All of Farmhouse Culture’s Krauts are made from organic veggies and are never pasteurized, so they’re always fresh and full of good-for-you probiotics. Their kimchi-style kraut is always organic, unpasteurized, and is alive with multiple strains of probiotics – making it amazing for your gut health! Their list of ingredients is SOO clean that I just have to share the simple ingredients in one of the blends: cabbage, water, sea salt, paprika, onion, chili pepper, garlic, ginger, carrot, kelp and chive – that’s it – no crap!!
I loved the flavor the Sriracha-Ginger Kraut added to my cauliflower fried rice and can’t wait for you to make this recipe! You’re going to be obsessed!

Thank you so much to Farmhouse Culture for partnering on this post!
Loved it! I didn’t have the Sriracha-ginger sauerkraut, so I used plain and added some garlic chili sauce and topped with salmon.
I am so glad that you loved it 🙂
