Heart-Healthy Berry Oatmeal Bake (GF & Vegan)
This mixed berry baked oatmeal is an easy and delicious breakfast that is vegan and gluten-free!
I love making this berry oatmeal bake for my entire family to enjoy together. If you live alone then you get to have leftovers for the whole week and you only need to make breakfast once for the week!
This recipe is really simple to make. You simply add all of the ingredients except for the berries into a large bowl (ingredients listed below), then pour it into a baking dish, and add the berries on top. You’ll then place the dish in the oven and bake for 25 minutes.
This berry oatmeal bake is packed with fiber thanks to the oats and flaxseeds. Most Americans don’t get enough fiber in their diet, so you can feel good knowing you’re starting your day with a good dose of fiber. This is also an antioxidant-packed breakfast thanks to the berries.
I created this recipe because it’s heart-healthy, and did you know that February is Heart Health month? A go-to source of information for me regarding heart health is from Baptist Health.
