Creamy Chocolate Protein Pitaya Bowl
I have always loved a class pitaya smoothie bowl (one in which I’d blend a frozen pitaya packet with some almond milk and banana), but this morning I woke up extra hungry and needed a more filling smoothie bowl. The protein powder, peanut butter and avocado added healthy fat and protein to this recipe and kept me full and energized for hours.
You can use any chocolate protein powder, but my favorite is Aloha chocolate protein powder – you can get a free trial here – trust me you will be addicted! This protein is organic, vegan/plant-based and is free of harsh chemicals, fillers and artificial sweeteners.
This smoothie bowl is so creamy and amazing. It tasted fruity with a hint of chocolate. Everything in this recipe is vegan and gluten-free, making it the perfect healthy start to your day!

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup almond milk
- handful of spinach
- 1 scoop vegan chocolate protein (I like Aloha chocolate protein)
- 1/3 avocado
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 cup strawberries
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 frozen pitaya packet
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pour into a bowl and enjoy with your favorite toppings.
Notes
Add the ingredients into the blender in the order they are listed. You should always add the liquid first and anything frozen last.
