My Favorite Clean, Plant-Based Protein Powders
I have been increasing my physical activity a lot lately after having a baby. I do spinning and kickboxing classes plus incorporate some weight-lifting into my routine. It is so important to get adequate protein for muscle recovery, but so many people use protein powders that are filled with artificial ingredients and lots of sugar that are doing their bodies more harm than good.
I only use protein powders that contain, REAL ingredients with nothing fake or artificial. All of the below protein powders are raw, vegan, organic, non-gmo and gluten-free. I love mixing protein powder into my oatmeal and smoothies.
It’s so important to read the ingredients in the protein powders you consume. Below are my favorite protein powders that are TRULY healthy with REAL ingredients:
Sprout Living – This extremely pure, organic, vegan, non-gmo and gluten-free protein comes in 4 different flavors: chocolate maca, vanilla lucuma, green kingdom and original/plain. I have tried all the flavors and could not possibly pick a favorite. This company adds superfoods (such as maca, lucuma, baobab, kale, moringa and more) to their protein powder, which is an added bonus!!
Aloha – This superfood protein powder come in 2 flavors chocolate and vanilla – both taste amazing! You can receive 40% off Aloha Chocolate protein tins by clicking here and entering the discount code CHOCO40 (until May 31st).
Philosophie Superfoods – These superfood protein powders come in three different flavors: green dream, berry bliss and cacao magic. Just 1 tbsp is packed with 10g of protein!
Ka’Chava – this tribal superfood/protein powder is a whole body meal. Mix 2 scoops of this stuff with some almond milk, and you’ve got yourself a full meal, packed with superfoods and protein. There are 70+ superfoods and nutrients in one serving (2 scoops). If I’m not having this as my meal, I add a 1/2 scoop to my oatmeal or smoothies – the chocolate and vanilla flavor both taste incredible!
Pure Goodness – the name says it all – this protein is so pure! It is simply made of cold-pressed seeds. You can buy the pumpkin seed protein powder or the hemp seed protein powder. They come in three flavors: chocolate, vanilla and natural.

Oh my gosh I’m so happy I stumbled upon this post! I was using a plant protein powder for a while that I LOVED {Perfect Fit} but they changed their formula and I didn’t like the taste. So I started using Garden of Life and they switched their formula too and I no longer like the taste. It tastes sour to me. I have heard a lot of really great thing about Aloha, I will have to try it!
THANK YOU!!
