I am a huge fan of creating my own healthy trail mix because I’m constantly on the go and need to have a healthy snack in my bag at all times. Unfortunately it’s difficult to find a healthy trail mix, so I make my own. I have been making this mix for years now, but wanted to share it with you because it’s so delicious and it’s something I always carry with me! I love munching on this mix before or after a workout because it’s packed with protein and healthy fat. It’s also high in antioxidants thanks to the goji berries, mulberries and cacao nibs!

Also, for those mama’s out there – with your kids now being back at school this is the perfect healthy snack to pack for them! It’s so great to know that you’re giving your kids nourishing snacks with real ingredients. The goji berries and mulberries are naturally really sweet so kids love them! If your child has an allergy to nuts simply leave out the cashews.

This mix consists of all healthy, natural ingredients: raw cashews, goji berries, mulberries, pumpkin seeds and cacao nibs. I want to break down the health benefits of each of these magical ingredients:

Raw Cashews: Cashews are packed with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants such as vitamins E, K, and B6, along with minerals like copper, phosphorus, zinc, magnesium, iron, and selenium.

Goji Berries: This superfruit helps to boost the immune system and is loaded with beta-carotene which helps promote healthy skin and eyes.

Mulberries: Mulberries are packed with nutrients such as iron, calcium, vitamin C, vitamin K, potassium, phosphorous, and riboflavin.  They contain a significant amount of dietary fiber.

Pumpkin Seeds:  Pumpkin seeds are full of nutrients such as magnesium, copper, protein and zinc.

Cacao Nibs:  Cacao nibs provide important benefits to your intestinal regularity, heart and blood vessels and blood sugar level.

  • Raw Cashews
  • Goji Berries
  • Mulberries
  • Pumpkin Seeds
  • Cacao Nibs


  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and use your hands to mix them around.
