Apple pie baked oatmeal…. oh where do I even begin?! This is one of my favorite healthy breakfast recipes that’s easy to make, requires minimal ingredients, is free of refined sugar and packed with nutrients. This hearty breakfast will keeps me full and satisfied for hours! I literally feel like I’m eating a delicious dessert for breakfast!
This recipe is vegan and gluten-free (if using certified gluten-free oats). The simple ingredients used are: oats, cinnamon, flax, almond milk, vanilla extract, baking powder, banana and dried apples. The recipe is naturally sweetened by the banana and apple and definitely doesn’t require any added sugar or syrup!
If this recipe doesn’t sound delicious enough, it’s then topped off with gently dried organic apple. I mixed some of them into the oatmeal as well as leaving some as a topping. This adds the perfect natural sweetness to this recipe.
