I am so obsessed with these banana bread chocolate chip cookies!! They’re the perfect choice when you’re craving banana bread AND a chocolate chip cookie – now you get the best of both worlds!! The taste like a soft-baked chocolate chip cookie with that banana bread taste.

These cookies are vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and egg-free. They’re lightly sweetened with just mashed banana and maple syrup – no refined sugar!! The flour used in this recipe is almond flour and oat flour. My favorite part about vegan baking is that you can lick the batter since there’s no raw egg in it 🙂

Vegan Banana Bread Chocolate Chip Cookies

Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 F
    2. Add almond flour, oat flour, baking soda and salt in a large bowl. Mix well to combine.
    3. In a separate bowl mix together the almond butter, maple syrup and banana, then pour into the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix well.
    4. Add in chocolate chips and mix to combine.
    5. Cover the bowl and place in the fridge for a minimum of 30 minutes (or can leave overnight).
    6. Using a cookie scooper, scoop the dough onto a parchment lined cookie sheet and place in the oven. Bake for 14 minutes.
    7. Remove from oven and allow to cool for at least 10 minutes prior to enjoying.

  1. I have been on the hunt for a good chocolate chip cookie recipe that is vegan, gluten + oil free. I had concluded it did not exist… until I tried this one. AMAZING. Due to my health issues I had not had a good chocolate chip cookie in years. I subbed the banana for 1/3 cup applesauce and worked great. Thank you so much for this wonderful recipe. It is my new go-to.






  2. Wow, just wow!! These are absolutely delicious, even my picky 3 year old loves them. How do you recommend storing them, keep on counter or stash in the fridge? I don’t think they’ll last long but still curious






    1. Hi! I’m SO glad to hear that you like them! That truly made my day 🙂 I recommend storing them in the fridge 🙂 You can also freeze them if you think they’ll last longer than a week and just defrost on the counter when you’re ready to eat it!
